Day Four.

I was almost late. Dx

Wahiida [sp?] was showing us some movie clips and I think I nodded off partially. I hope I stop taking those damn meds soon. I couldn't really see the "styles" she was talking about; I don't think I'm much of a film person.

Anyway, after that, we had another group discussion. WRY DIDN'T I BRING CHEESECAKE THERE! Blech. [Cheesecake = my laptop.] Would've been so much easier to take notes. Anyway! Here's what we got:

Intro:
-Clips of random objects, fast forwarded with voice-overs of "I am ____"
-Leads up to the bus-stop outside TP
-Fast-forwards until it reaches one of us, then it slows, with a voice-over saying "My name is ____"
-More fastforwarded clips, then transition with voice-over

Content:
...Uh, WE'RE WORKING ON IT! 8D

Ending:
-Show some bloopers
-All five of us run, and jump into the air; frame freezes and credits roll.
-Credits end, the frame unfreezes, and we continue running.

Day Three.

I finally went back to school today. ><; Am still somewhat sick, though. Turns out we had to go to the LT25 for movie clip screenings.

I kept nodding off during the presentations, because my darn flu meds make me sleepy. --;

There was one video Alfie showed with a CRAPTON of camera shake. Good grief, my EYES BURN. BUUUUUUUUUUURN, I TELL YE. Not only that, they fast-forwarded everything so I had no flippin' idea what they were trying to get across. D8

After all that, Alfie said, "This is the video I DON'T want you guys to do."

We got it, all right...what an eyesore. X___x

Day 2.

T_____T

GUYS, I AM SO SORRY BUT MY BODY DECIDED TO BE STOOPID AND MAEK ME SICKZORS.

Started off with a sore throat in the middle of the afternoon yesterday, and it progressed into a fever by nightfall. >_>; Blaaaah.

ButIhaveseenadoctorandamallbetternao? 8Dv

-cough-

Anyway, I read Hanis's and Huiqin's blogs on what I missed out today.

[Copied and pasted from Huiqin's blog...]

Introduction
-Show some random shots of people what they do
-Show images of MOI works
-Have voice over in the background together with the images
-The voices are like "I want to be___________(eg. I want to be a film maker)"
-For the transition to the content, we will film the 4 interviewers in voice over form with them introducing themselves
-We will take video of them observing things around them while their surroundings move in fast/slow speed

Content
-We will interview the four MOI students
-Two of them from animation, the other two from video
-For animation part, we will film the students doing works like using flash to do 2D animation
-For the video part, we will film the scenes of the students' video production
-Film what MOI students do in design school
-Film what MOI students do in their free time
-We will do the interviews in turns like video student first, then animation student
-Show interactions between animation students and video students
-We will overlap some interview shots with other shots

Well, it's a little confusing to me as I read, but then again I missed out on discussion. It does sound interesting, though. :3 I'm pretty sure not all MOI students are nerds who sit in front of the TV or computer all day long 8D; I'd like to know what others do outside of school time myself, really.

Okay, I'mma go take my meds and curse this stupid headache to just go away. ;_;

Day One.

@_____________@ AH, MY GAWDZIES.

MOI Project One is epic stuff.

We were briefed today on what we needed to do for it, and when they said we needed our old work, I'm all "Ohsnap but the school trashed some of my shtoof DDD:"

We were to form groups to work on this, and it's supposed to be a video. -looks at big, fat "C" for Vid fundamentals- ._.;

Ahem.

Anyway, I'm grouped together with Huiqin, Sho, Hanis and Betty. Betty came up with the idea of doing an MTV-styled video. I thought it was cute and interesting; we discussed further over lunch.

Here's what we came up with:
-The video would involve the tagline "Different Lives, One Goal".
-The tagline illustrated how, though we're all from different backgrounds and have different interests/hobbies, our goal ultimately is still the same in the end.
-We'd have our 2 minute sections show what we did for coursework, and what we do in our spare time as well.
-We could animate little mascots to narrate or do things like drag names/titles into the screen.

Not that everything's finalized yet, but we have a sketchy idea of what we want to do. (:

I shall now go attempt to nurse this @#$%^'ng sore throat and hope it doesn't get any worse...
